Magic Lantern, Inc. is an independent game development studio located in Monmouth, Illinois, in the United States. The company was founded in November 1998.

The company used the publishing label Magic Lantern Playware (often abbreviated MLP) for games released early in its history, but this label was discontinued after June 2004.
