Tensori, established in Jyväskylä, Finland in 2021, is a startup composed of a dedicated team of Finnish gamers / developers united by a passion: to innovate in the gaming industry.

The company embarked on its journey with the development of "Yon on the Run" between 2021 and 2023. Despite facing financial challenges and confronting the ambitious scope of the project, the development has been temporarily suspended as of 2023.

Amidst challenges, the team initiated the development of POOLS, a project that began as the brainchild of our lead graphics designer Joni Londén.
POOLS was inspired by the internet phenomenon “Backrooms Poolrooms”. One of the earliest known artists of this concept that we know of is Jared Pike (https:///). POOLS was also inspired by the game Anemoiapolis and work of many content creators in Pinterest and in YouTube like Matt Studios and Kane Parsons.
Joni, having a background in architectural visualization thought the architecture in particular was really intriguing and started working on a prototype. Soon after, the rest of the team got interested as well. And once again, game development resumed.

Initially a hobby / fun experiment, quickly on POOLS garnered significant interest, prompting the decision to evolve it into a fully-fledged game. The preliminary response to POOLS has been extraordinarily positive, signalling a promising future for the company.

Of course, all of this is easier said than done. Only way to prove this to gamers is...to make great games. Actions speak louder than words."
