Histoire : Haruki Chitose lives an apparently peaceful life, though it is constantly filled with misfortune.
Dropping his phone into water, losing his wallet countless times, getting into accidents while cycling, and being dragged into trouble just by walking down the street – such events are so common to him that he hardly considers them bad luck at all. This is simply his “normal” everyday life.

One day, however, something truly unexpected arrives: a parcel with no sender, no address, and only a label reading ă€Œç”Ÿç‰©ă€.
Normally, this would be read as namamono, meaning “perishable goods”, but in this case it was meant as ikimono – a “living being”.
Even for Haruki, this was beyond anything he could imagine. Inside the package was a girl.

This encounter marks not another piece of misfortune, but rather Haruki’s first experience of “good fortune”. The girl claims to be a “goddess” who has come to save him from his endless bad luck, and soon she begins living in his house under the pretext of protecting him. Yet her actions only create new problems, turning Haruki’s small everyday troubles into large-scale chaos that involves everyone around him.

In the midst of this wild and unpredictable life, what will Haruki’s “good fortune” truly bring him? What is the real purpose of the girl who calls herself a goddess? And will his misfortune ever come to an end?

The answers lie within the turbulent days that are only just beginning.
