Histoire : 1850, Devil Stone. The town's mayor, Bigpig, with the help of the bribable One Eyed Wicked and his lackey Fat Though, has turned it into what is now the meeting place and guard for the most dangerous bandits, criminals and assassins of the western Pecos.

The state of Texas, fed up with the abuses committed there in the name of the Law, has agreed to send the best Sheriff ever known, Marshall James, who will have to expel all the criminals from the town, imprison Bigpig and his clique, and re-establish the Law again
