Histoire

The long-dreaded invasion has finally come. The Reapers, an ancient race of colossal synthetic-organic machines that harvest all advanced life every fifty thousand years, descend upon the galaxy and lay waste to Earth. Commander Shepard, the seasoned soldier who has warned of this threat for years, escapes the burning homeworld with a desperate mission: to unite the galaxy's fractured and feuding species into a single alliance capable of stopping the Reapers. Guided by the discovery of an ancient superweapon known as the Crucible, Shepard journeys from world to world aboard the starship Normandy, mending old rivalries, brokering fragile peace between bitter enemies, and rallying every fleet and army willing to stand and fight. Alongside a loyal crew of companions, Shepard races against time while the human supremacist group Cerberus pursues its own dangerous agenda. With civilization itself on the brink, every choice carries the weight of countless lives.
