Histoire : The story centers around D.W., who is an aardvark, and the younger sister of Arthur. D.W. is wary of trying any new foods and would rather stick to plain spaghetti noodles or peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. When her family decides to celebrate at a restaurant and she is served a spinach salad, she causes a scene and embarrasses her family. Afterwards, she is banned from going to any restaurants, until she changes her attitude. D.W. starts to worry...what about Grandma Thora’s birthday dinner? Can D.W. reconcile her misgivings and give something new a chance?
